Ignore any valuation that does not clearly show the founding investors have taken a beating. BTC has only ever been up for a few days in 5 years. Mostly down between 20% – 40%. Then if you input lost opportunity costs you get about - 45% today and as bad as -60% in the past (using a hurdle rate of say 5.5% in a guaranteed CMT).
Don’t misread the buy back as good news, its not a beneficial dividend for the shareholders, as promised in the prospectus…. it will just help the managers.
Finally what about the sleeper investments…. is there some more Proteome’s lurking?
