re: the paladin of copper? Yep, the price of copper is just going crazy.
It's hard to see this level of appreciation being sustainable. But who knows?
I wonder how much of the rise is from traders and how much is actual fundamental demand for the metal?
Copper producing companies are rolling in cash at the moment - I just hope these high prices are still around when EQN begin production.
BTW, I'm personally banking on first production being early 2008 and not end of 2007. It will only take a small disruption at any point in the build-up for the first production date to be pushed back. But hey, if they do manage to get it up and running on time, it'll be a bonus.
