It seems like hoots and I are not the only ones confused…when I just checked the price of copper is actually up…currently at US$3.07 cents /LB…but what is down is LME stock levels….down another 500tonne…..which can only help CDU……timely eh…WM is in China they tell me….and I am sure you can guess why.
I am a bit disappointed that janti has not been assisting with our Smelter Payday Countdown…..it did look like a bit of a team effort there for a while….
Anyway we have 10 days behind us and 20 days to go…imho....hopefully WM has been knee deep in negotiations and we wont need all of the remaining 20 days to find out what mix the Chinese smelters are happy to purchase and how much they will pay and when the starters gun can be fired…..we know the Rocklands stockpiles can be accessed at the drop of a hat….and the very profitable roadtrains to Townsville can commence.
