Mark Read has not broken any laws here. He is obligated to keep all of his clients information confidential. When you register with IAS they state your details will not leave the company. If what Mark Reed did is judged to be illegal then the whole gaming industry, including the TAB's and casino's will be subject to court cases.
People who are willing to bet large sums of money without any tax liabilities do not wish to do so without the assurance of confidentiality.
This may be wrong, but it is not against the law. If CBA take IAS to court they will be paying court fees and that is all. It will not happen. The CBA will be thrown out of court because they did have in place the correct auditing in the first place.
If this is what is driving the price down, then we will have some great buying opportunites in the near future.
