I collect trains (scary for non collectors I know, but anyway). It has always stunned me that each jurisdiction needs its own trains. Every country in Europe designs their own, every state in Australia. Just stupid. We should buy them from the SBB CFF FFS. Already designed, already in production. Why reinvent the wheel everytime?
