Another classic example is, pyramid sale is extremely popular in china. People are willing to buy these expensive "medical supplements" simply because a upstream friend introduces to them, and they will then develop their downstream connections and sell them the useless expensive crap. In the end, a lot of people paid a lot of money and end up with a lot of crap that they will never fully consumed, but that's it, that's the power of "word of mouth" and "people's connection" in China.

I am a Chinese living in Australia and have relatives in China. they did buy here when they visit me, just for taking some local stuff on their way back. but for raise a baby over 2 years they buy via Chinese official website. No problem for quality. Why because big guys look after it for their own goodness. IMO, Daigou for IF would soon finish. In Shanghai the community sets up free food Kiosk for less fortunate people, and works fine. China is not what you a lot think about.
