Chaos, I'm afraid you have just demonstrated the same unwillingness to research and face THE FACTS that SMSL continue to do in relation to Lynas. It is a fact that the Australian Fisheries Management Authority is one of the top 3 such authorities in the world. It is staffed by well qualified experts who set sustainable catch quotas, and ensure they are kept by having Federal inspectors On board the boats monitoring catches. And the licence for the operation in question here is to catch fish that are generally NOT fished by either other professional fishers or amateur sportsmen.
So the public reaction to this properly regulated and licensed operation is simply wrong, and the Minister has cravenly failed to stand up to the ill-informed public outcry.
In contrast, the Malaysian Government HAS defended the scientific outcome and HAS supported our company! So in this instance Australia has failed miserably...
