totally agree. just the other day the fda approved an opioid (i think it was an opiod) for the treatment of DBU pain. i cant find the article now but pretty sure thats what it was. that tells me two things: one, we are right to be focussing on pain management in the trial and two, the conversation with the fda will be a lot easier come approval time. the fda will be supportive of anything that reduces peoples need for opioids.
