Never underestimate the Americans ability to stuff up the System, by paying over the odds for what should be a basic input !
I once saw Newmont pay US$6,000+ for a phone line, that they could have got for $30 ! needless to say it then took months to re-educate the phone company that they should only be charging Foreign Companies the same price as Locals,
