Something else you may want to consider when comparing MTN and SMM is that SMM's Valhalla, Skal and Anderson deposits have metallurgical problems making it difficult to seperate the uranium.
To quote from "Australia's Uranium Resources..." 2001 page 136
" The uranium cannot be recovered by normal acid leaching processing. Queensland Mines Ltd. carried out metallurgical testwork using a range of processes. However the results were disapointing because of poor recoveries and high processing costs. Queensland Mines relinguished its leases in 1991 which were then picked up by Summit in 1993."
SMM is confident it has now developed a better recovery process but this has only been tested in the lab. Will these new processes work as a large scale commercial operation ?
