i dont know if a takeover is on the cards, PDN know what SMM is worth why wait until now when sp has rocketed. they were after valhulla and they will be tied up in court trying to secure that takeover rather than go for SMM.
everytime we have a sp increase someone talks about takeovers. IMO if sp can get to 3.00 plus we are reaching fair value for the stock and takeover chances are less and less. at 3.00 market cap would be 600 million.
i have done a lot of research on this company, and allan eggers will not give up without a fight, he is well prepared for takeover situation and as such has a large percentage of shares distributed between directors and trusted insto's and investors.
he knows what the company is worth. the shareholders know also. pending policy change SMM will be the next big aust uranium producer, im not selling out for PDN.
IMO SMM will be a much bigger company than PDN in the future. more tennements more tonnes, less shares, more base metals. even at these prices is still a no brainer.
