I wrote the potential customers for the wifi kit under last year’s STC number in the hundreds longreach, but as you know it is barely even that!

And why should The ‘technical guys’ you mention be offended?
They did not write that FY’21 final report [ref] and if they had - as the STC was for one model aircraft only -they they most certainly would NOT have said

“…Upon formal approval, Rich Poutier, SMS Head of Global Business Development, will be in a position to:​

- drive sales of CVM™ kits for those airlines that utilize all WiFi (not just GoGo) systems installed under STC..”​

This comment - straight after inferring there are more than two thousand aircraft using Gogo hubs - is downright misleading!

Surely those days of “come in sucker” are now done!???

The appointment of Ross Love as executive chairman last year appears to have signalled the arrival of new more ‘reputable’ times for SMS as far as reporting goes.
So far he has ticked the ‘honesty boxes’ brilliantly!

And the hopefully imminent STC for the Aft Pressure Bulkhead CVM sensor kit will - hopefully - signal the arrival of genuine revenue and profits as CVM tech takes a REAL place in the market alongside all the other structural health monitoring systems that have been developed since the CVM tech was first invented more than two decades ago!
