Hi Patong
In my previous chart post I said that holding 43 may be wishful thinking. I posted a target area and the 30's is on the cards with the expected wait.
I find it strange your comments about doubting that the SP will ever see the 80's again.Innovative companies commonly experience unexpected and protracted delays. It's par for the course and I am surprised that you don't know that already.
I can show you dozens of charts of protracted delays followed by success. But I will only show you two. Both companies you have heard of. Two monthly charts for each company, with one early chart, then a following chart to see what eventuates. Pay attention to the trend lines as they reveal the percentage declines from the peaks to the troughs and also how months transpired in that drop.
My first company is PLS (Lithium). On my first chart notice the peak early of 0.87 followed by a drop to 0.31. I wonder if anyone said " I doubt if we will ever see the 80's again". What followed was another peak this time at 1.25 then an enormous 89% drop to 0.125. Surely this time the 80's are gone forever. The first drop took 11 months and the second took 27 months.
On my second PLS chart you can see what played out with PLS.Before you say that was a special case, Scroll down to my second very well known company
My second choice of companies is known world wide as an innovator. MSFT (Microsoft). Check out the first chart and then what happens following the DOT-COM bubble. Then my second chart to see what plays out.
I could show you another whole series of charts about companies experiencing protracted hard time an then greatly succeeding. But why bother.
Which raises the question about if you can't see SMN getting above the 80's again.
What are you doing here?
Needless to say that I have lost all interest in your opinions.
cheers Lies
PS SMN is going to be one of the most radical innovators to the aviation industry ever seen. Yes more delays are possible. MSFT took 111 months from peak to trough. The company currently makes enough money to survive a long drought, even another couple of years. Buying MSFT at 16 dollars which is currently at 398 dollars and paying quarterly dividends of 68c is the stuff everyone here would like a little taste of.
