We all know for some time they have been dealing with Airbus on adaption so an upset Boeing not likely to pull out, especially we are talking advancing safety.
The act of delay to force better deals for Boeing certainly ring true of past Boeing ethics but right now they are making changes to reverse that to promote engineering and safety over profits.
Seems to make sense they will come to a quick decision to adapt due to this new direction forced on them rather instead of delay.
