Also not sure how Airbus and Embraer would react to Boeing attempts at controlling SMN's CVM technology. I suspect that they would make it difficult for Boeing takeover attempt to just glide through easily.
Then there are the OEM's connected with military applications like Raytheon Tech , Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. That market is huge and I am not sure that they would be happy with having to deal through Boeing for access to CVM's.
So counter offers could be on the cards, not necessarily for total takeover but enough holdings through a number of parties to put a halt to Boeings attempt.
As I said before, its not as simple as it seems at first glance.
