Hi Opti, wow first time I heard “Adverse Selection” being mentioned. I think in some situations, “A S” can be induced by some positive factors. In my case, I took up all my $0.9 rights entitlement with money saved from my self-funded retiree incomes, then immediately after, I bought more from an unplanned cash source when SXY got taken over by scheme of arrangement (read low ball offer) on April Fool day 2022 – a positive factor to me weighing the potential gain in SMN. I always view life as compensating even a material loss can be compensated by an non-material gain. BTW, I first learned about SMN from reading Courier Mail newspaper right at the start of 2012 or 2011(?) when it listed the best share market gainers and losers for the previous year, and SMN was at the top of the list when its sp went from 2c to 4c. I remembered its eye-catching company logo (the previous one) well at the time. Take Care.
