Going back there was an answer to this. The company was to get a starting revenue by charging a value for a one off instal per aircraft. When an airline has fitted all its A/C they then would agree to an annual royalty payment for its continued use. Amounts thrown about back then was about 14 mil per year for the larger airlines and about 8 mil for the smaller ones. This was back in Toby’s day but more than likely changed in todays world. Would be nice if Ross Love updated on this.
