Doing some mathematics.
For ease of numbers I will only use smaller numbers than is available in the SPP.
If you purchased 4000 shares in the SPP = $2080
You then assumed everything went to plan & exercised your 3000 options = $2,340
Total cost for controlling 7000 shares = $4,420
Conversely, purchase 7000 shares on market @ $0.50 = $3,500
Saving = $920 less brokerage.
Expand that to 57692 shares on SPP = $30,000
43269 options exercised = $33,750
Total = $63,750
Conversely, purchase 100,961 shares on market @ $0.50 = $50,481 plus brokerage.
Saving $13,269
Food for thought.
The only downside is the most improbable situation of not obtaining FAA approval & paying for extra 43269 shares in lieu of waiting to exercise options.
Currently, 130,348 shares are available @ $0.50 or less.
Hmmm sounds good, I might even take it up myself.
