    Hi Stezza…. But even assuming there is that 80% take up of CVM tech for the 737NG, weren’t we told that the installations would only happen during the heavy duty maintenance check every three years?(http://www.b737.org.uk/heavymaint.htm) … so maybe 16 aircraft a year or four a quarter IF the installation process starts promptly?
    (nb numbers are not my strong point and 16 is a guess) .
    At your margin of a potential $80,000 (?) per aircraft that would be something more than $1.25m profit per year?

    And who pays the money for the retrograde fitting?
    The airlines who have leased or bought the planes I guess, because as I understand it Boeing doesn’t have a brass razoo and is currently (31/10/24) trying to raise $15billion just to get it’s head out from underwater https://gfmag.com/capital-raising-c...aising-capital-financing-regulatory-scrutiny/

    Meanwhile Delta has managed to score six (?) installations over the years at virtually no cost to itself …so those need to be deducted from the fleet of potential income earners….
    And all those future years would include the threat of a potentially superior tech being released.

    - Not trying to rain on the parade, but I think it’s potentially a long road ahead - even if the APB app does find a near term approval, and I feel the best way for the price here to get a real leg up would be the sniff of some amazing new apps, plus approvals, plus a takeover offer from someone who wants the patents .
