Exactly right. In addition to all that the APB theory applies to Airbus fuselages just as it does to a Boeing. It relieves the pressure effects imposed on a fuselage and does all the movement needed and therefore relieving the fuselage from metal fatigue which would be fatal. If they found a need for these sensors to be on the Boeing rest assured, it will be needed on the Airbus.
Some tidbits coming from the news, the new Boeing CEO, an engineer, has mentioned they are going back to basics. That is building aircraft again and not grabbing all other technologies that come on the scene, the accountant brainwave, it is mentioned they will dispense of most they grabbed and stick to the builds. Some posts have brought up in the past the idea that if CVM becomes a valuable asset to be aboard an aircraft, then Boeing will snap it up. Just aint going to happen.
