On the contrary, it is the postman who knocks twice but I believe, as you say, "opportunity knocks every day", however major opportunities are rare & if not taken, mainly by indecision, can be lost forever.
Today I took the opportunity to invest $30,000 in an up-coming float, WAM Income Maximiser (WMX) which closes on Friday. With the markets down, what better opportunity will there be for the start-up of a new (LIC) listed investment company, that will pay dividends monthly. They should be able to load up their portfolio with prices near the bottom of the cycle.
