Any movement in the share price will depend on the quality of the news in the quarterly report. If I had insufficient SMN shares, which I haven't, & was looking for an entry point, I would not leave it until after the quarterly report was announced as there is far greater upside potential than downside.
On the other hand, already having a significant holding, the only time I would be buying any more shares would be if the price drifted lower & I could not resist a bargain.
