    As multiple forum members have stated I am on ‘ignore’ ( because they found my research dangerous and untrustworthy?), perhaps it is not widely known here that Delta (and others) have upgraded to Viasat or other new wifi providers.

    But as you pointed out yesterday Delta still has both part ownership of and maintenance contracts with several other airlines - including at least one - Aeromexico - that DOES use the 2KU GoGo wifi antenna on three dozen B737-800s.
    (I still have nor looked at GOL).

    I agree with you that perhaps not much revenue would be on the cards if wifi retrofit contracts were booked (with Aeromexico or Alaska?) in the near future.
    — The GoGo radome has a problematic history with some models [ref] and regardless of cautions that might extend from this, this I think airlines would be hesitant about booking in a whole fleet for a modification that is still untested in commercial service.
    BUT trialling two or three planes for a period (which is what KLM seemed to do before booking its’ fleet conversion to Viasat [see reference link here] seems logical to me.)

    And the cost benefits are supposedly enough to make conversion worthwhile even without the discounts Delta would receive as agent due to its’ 2018 deal.
    Plus, as Jazzasax said, the retrofits could be done simply and easily whilst planes are having normal maintenance checks.

    Most of all I think the value of getting the vacuum stickers into commercial service - in any way - would be immense.
    It has to start somewhere!
    Initially - on reading of all the new services - I thought maybe there were no opportunities out there but (thanks @InItEarly for encouraging me to look further ), it now seems to me there is at least one cashed up and ideal candidate out there.
