Hi Compint Part of your post could be misinterpreted in that the FAA/EASA relationship does not mean FAA APB approval automatically opens the door for CVM on Airbus aircraft. it means Boeing aircraft affected by the FAA AD operated by airlines who are under EASA auspices will get the same approval as airlines operating Boeing aircraft in FAA jurisdiction. Eg Ryan Air run heaps of 737’s but cannot apply the FAA approval without EASA sanction.
Any Airbus CVM solutions will still need initial EASA approval and FAA are likely to follow suit.
