Yes I think all are very frustrated with the timeline, however I have no doubt FAA are being super super cautious especially as the Max oversight issue is burning a hole in their pants.
For all we know the CVM issue "may" be pushing a turning point in FAA philosophy- dont forget Dixon is head of FAA AND ex Delta
I hope my thinking is not too wishful
