News for Today (AEDST)
The XJO closed higher on Tuesday @5821.2, where spread increased substantially, and volume was just above average.
There was no serious downside follow through in the US overnight, which left our market in a clear position to respond positively, after Monday's potentially strong bar and volume. The Index accelerated higher from the open, eventually closing at the highest level since 5th May 2015 (@5826.5), as it moved towards the previous highs. Some momentum should now have been generated, which should continue to carry the Index higher in the coming few days, and potentially issue a strong challenge and create a new breakout.
