There's no easy answer to that one and it's going to vary based upon stocks and whether they are blue chip or speculative or even the sector. There are just SO many things to consider. However it should be noted that there hasn't been a 30% gain. Monday and Tuesday ac8 was smashed due to what was happening in the US. That caused panic on the asx and people sold. Today people are less panicked and the share price has bounced back. It certainly has not gained 30% just recovered that amount. That's my simplistic view on things.
