Littering sucks no matter what is being tossed out the window and younger folk seem to do it more than the generation that learnt "Don't be a litterbug". Perhaps youngsters have always been more prone to flout the rules :)

Am so glad nikko that you got the cycle bug and anyone smoking a pack a day these days know they are playing a form of Russian roulette once they've been doing it for twenty years.

However there are a lot of casual smokers who cycle, scuba, ski, surf, run etc leading active and healthy lifestyles. Addicted to enjoying a ciggy with a drink but able to keep it under wraps - in my case gave up smoking during the day in my late twenties, some thirty years ago.

Smokers need to bear in mind that Smoking Kills a very very small % of casual smokers. At my age and smoking level of five a day my morbidity level is .02% - there is a neat website where you can plug in your data and get your odds! As for paasive smoking, please, get a grip.
