I have been a way awhile, and there's to many post to read to catch up.

I have a friend 63 who about 3 years ago got tongue cancer,

He is still alive, but what a journey, which I won't tell here now.Needless to saw it was not a good journey.

His doctor told him, you shouldn't drink alcohol and smoke together. He didn't say why, or my mate can't remember.

Here is what I think, when you drink alcohol, it washes all of your protective coating of saliva from your mouth, throat and tongue . That will then allow chemicals to enter your body easily.

This is just my thoughts.I don't smoke,it's a wealth hazard as well.

    cheers,
