Actually what you need to understand is that more often than not the seller and the buyer are one in the same....
When a huge amount of stock is accumulated the depth can be stacked to make things appear the way they aren't......
It's the oldest trick in the book! one of them anyway....
This is how stock is tranferred from weak hands to strong....
The floating supply has to be removed before the stock can move up otherwise any announcement that is made will be a waste of time as the stock is immediately swamped with the holdings of traders locked in at higher prices....or those who are only are only interested in a 1 or 2 point move
We have already seen this with the last couple of announcements
Small holders are shaken out by various means until there is very little stock available at the current price...
The volume was very low today which is an indicator that a move may soon be on the cards...
