@TST - I think it is due to lack of "free float". That is where there is large controlling shareholder that shareholder's shares are not included in the market capitalization of the company for the purpose of determining if it is large enough to be ASX 200. This is on the basis that the large shareholder's shares will only be traded in "exceptional" circumstances therefore they are not available for day to day trading which then leads to a lower liquidity.
