    You can do an off-market transfer to the SMSF. This is treated as a sale from your trading account so the proceeds will be taxable on the share trading account, less the cost of the shares, like any sale in your trading account. There will be no additional tax payable (the 15%) on the money you put in the SMSF. There is an annual limit of $250,000 (I think) for post tax money with some transitional provisions if you are over 50ish.
