I asked the accountant about setting up the corporate trustee, bank accounts and other details to amend. The response follows:
"Yes all would need to be updated for the new trustee. It is not too difficult to do, but yes is a pain and a process by each bank and the broker would need to be gone through. The main cost to do this apart from the setup of the company, would be the land transfer documents, the rest I believe you could do yourself".
As I hold land inside the SMSF, I have to change the titles as well. Hardly motivating circumstances to make the change...
