This can be a dangerous area for an on-line forum, but I will give a brief answer.
A SMSF can have accumulation AND pension accounts at the same time, in fact can have multiple accounts of both types. Documentation and accounting need to be in order.

A good administrator should be able to help and make sure it is compliant.

A rollback & consolidation etc if often called 'resetting' and often happens on 30 June.
