The problem is the apathetic Australian population who don't bother to keep up to date with super, property trends, spruikers etc. They'd rather watch cooking shows, sit-coms than do a few hours reading about one of their most valuable assets - superannuation and then wonder why they got duped. Aussie gov't could do well by introducing courses at TAFE, Uni specifically targeting super, property, investing, budgeting that educates people not just inform! How I would love to have had a few month TAFE course about super 20 years ago so I could actively plan my retirement.
