    my bad I didn’t correctly use the reply section.



    I agree the ETFs on offer on the ASX lack liquidity even the standout NDQ that tracks the Nasdaq.
    However you can trade the USA ETFs which have massive liquidity it’s nothing to drop hundreds of thousands into a position for it to be snapped up in milliseconds such is the daily volume.
    I run a SMSF and trade ETFs via IB broker which is heaps cheaper than using the Australian brokers for USA trading.
    The best site to see all the USA ETFs in via ETFDB.com web site which has a database of all the ETFs over 2100 to date and if you hit the screener tab it will list them from largest to smallest for you.
    SPY the ETF that tracks the S&P500 index by far the largest.
    QQQ tracks the Nasdaq top 100 which has a lot more daily volume than NDQ doing the same thing on the ASX.

    Lots of boutique smaller ETFs with low liquidity but for the big indexes it’s no problem at all to buy or sell large positions.
