OK. Got answer from Esuperfund. They can allow me to have my SMSF established in FY 2018-19 and have the fee exemption for the year, but they won't start the application process until July 1. This is a bit frustrated as I will have to sit along with 5 weeks without doing anything. I feel Esuperfund is a bit bureaucratic. So I am looking at other options at the moment.
