Hi Stephen,
The obvious choice for an aussie ETF is STW will basically match the ASX200 & pay out divis.
But if you like a bit of Leveridge without the paper work who can buy GEAR it's basically tracks the same thing as STW pays out 100/ in Divis & is geared around 1-6 the magic number Watren buffet uses to outperform the markets.
It's new compared to STW so doesn't have the daily volume but if you take a long term view don't mind collecting divis along the way it will always out perform STW in a rising market.
In a falling market just buy the dips as people say & reinvest the divis it will always outperform any fund manager tracking the ASX 200 as its geared.
If looking beyond the ASX then check out
Pro shares & Direxion on the web for ETFS to buy in the USA market lots more to pick from & some very good performers.
Check out BIB, CURE, TQQQ, SPXL, UDOW etc or look up ETFDB.com for a site that tracks all 1500 plus ETFS on the ARCX in the US.
Cheers
