    Thanks for that, I'm not quite 65 yet but the argument for dismantling and SMSF in this case sounds compelling and definitely worth serious consideration. I suppose if one partner dies though would the same scenario apply, I think you only get taxed on what you draw out of an superfund so leaving more in may save you paying income tax. If in a normal bank account you would pay tax on all interest/ imputations earned?
