re: smuggler posting @ 4.37am !! The "hit" counter here on HC does give an indication of how many (or, how few) read your thoughts!!!

This can also give you a good guide to current market sentiment of a particular stock, or, may even provide a gauge as to how poorly a poster's (your own) research is regarded by other members of the site!!! LOL!! - Boring, long winded "jumbled" words even with Links providing 'logical' support, etc etc

I sometimes like to feel, that as an 80 - 20 rule is said to apply to the market, that the 20's must be already "in" the stock and the 80's will come on board, & at a higher shareprice value of course, when those 20's start to ramp it up, in due course!!

But there is plenty of time for that, (to come on board) although I might add, IS THERE???

When Looksmart appointed David Hills as CEO, was when the "turn around" of Looksmart began. This "My way or, the Highway", passionate & strong willed person is definately in the process of 'bringing it off", is my honest opinion.

I do really feel, that the special shareholders meeting on the 26th of this month may be the 'real' start of something good for existing holders. Oh, it's 'complex", that's for sure!! And few understand the many changes being made daily, that will ensure the "grip" that BIG Portals currently have on "search", will NOT last forever. Google, with an all time high of $321.28pps and Yahoo's 52 week high ($39.79pps) both closed overnight in the A/Hrs, @ $313.62pps and $33.87cps respectively. And many punters see them 'both' going a lot higher, too!!

I have only just replied to a "doctor_short_to_zero" who, (whilst traditionally claiming to be "short" on his picks), does hold the opinion, that Google is heading to $350.00pps. We have some "fun" on Yahoo at times, & I replied to him, as follows:

< I would be long two stocks. GOOG and SNDK. - GOOG is going to $350.00. >

    How wrong can you be???

FWIW, both GOOG & YHOO are the "short of the century" IMHO, following LOOK's shareholder meeting, on the 26th of this month!!!

Now, promise me you will bookmark this post !!

    Current Market Cap :

LOOK (with CEO David Hills casually stating just 2 weeks ago) having $61M "cash in the bank" has a current market "cap" (on the overnight .80cps close) of just $91M.

The market values the LOOK business @ just $30M !!!

Yet, ANSW, Answers.com with a market cap of $73 mil, (less their $19M. cash they have) and the market has an intrinsic value on this company, in the $54 mil. range.

    http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=ANSW

They (GuruNet Corporation) have just released Q3 revenue estimates and they will bring in a total of just $550,000 revenues for Q3. And they won't even bring in 2 mil. for fiscal FY2005. WTF?

And Looksmart has THREE Top Tier Publisher/Media Co's as partners (IAC's ASK, Viacom & The New York Times!!) all, yet unannounced 'officially', to the market!!

    - Ask Jeeves licensing LOOK's ad center. Revenue not included in current guidance.

    - New York Times licensing Furl. Revenue not included in current guidance.

    - Viacom using Furl and distributing LOOK search results on ALL it's revamped local search sites so far. (CBS TV Sites). Licensing Revenue not included in current guidance. (Possibly start in Q4 ??)

    We'll see ...... Cheers !!

    :)
