JBM in their interview today reported 11,000 odd tonne of nickel produced in 2006. SMY will be producing 14,000 tonne in 2007 (12,000 on equity basis, only owns 75% Lanfranchi). SMY price is $2.20 and JBM is $14.40 nearly 7 times dearer. I know JBM mine theirs for about 5 cents a lb not sure of the cost to SMY will look into the costings. No wonder the brokers love SMY. Does anyone care to comment on this comparison, I would be interested to hear from the knowledgeable.
