    Using larger sample size either side of sample period. Total Wind and solar generation for 8 Days was 744 GWh's and Brown Coal 740 GWh's which shows matching output. Period to the left of sample was better, to the right lower primarily due to lower wind related to a couple High pressure systems.

    Calculating the storage flow required to balance load on 5min spacing I get 213 GWh's and storage capacity required 113 GWh's. Maximum load to storage is 6 GW, Maximum generation from storage is 3.6 GW.

    Battery losses of 17% would equate to 36 GWh's reducing the Wind and solar to 708 GWh's.

    Current weather conditions are not ideal and show the deficiency in most current models based on longer averages which are hiding the variability.
