Definitely the case in TX ... home of SouthWest Airlines the original and best low cost carrier in the USA ... started with 1 aircraft (737) flying the triangle of Dallas - Houston - San Antonio - Dallas with airfare pricing that rival bus fares and became the largest domestic US carrier .... and now plenty of friends say they would just drive from Dallas to Houston or San Antonio.

Don't know about say SYD - MEL .... whats consumes more - a plane burning jet fuel or a 100 small (because its not T) cars (assume ICE because of distance (currently)).

Count me into on $80 oil (if so buy DIG - but based on what I'm seeing right now on futures that would be a bad idea - volatile)
