TMB ... the cynic in me says that was in (the back? or front?) their minds. This is the risk of the equity owner. Always has been. What pisses me off though is the mgmt that puts the company into Ch 11 are often (generously) rewarded with stakes in the new relatively debt free company because they put the bondholder before the stockholder in the period before Ch 11. I'd much rather see liquidation of assets and screw everyone, but in particular the highly paid mgmt that screwed the equity holders.
