Hi H,
The shorts went from 1.38% a month ago to 0.8% last week with just over a million short selling daily to depress the SP.
Sell/buy ratio 25:17 is also looking a bit better this morning.
I am really a bit surprised that they managed to cover 0.5% without much increase in SP. The sells have dropped off this morning, so maybe from here on, they'll find it harder. Hope so.
May be the sell side drop off is due to leaks and winks as per the CN tweet.
