Steve Maine (I think) from Crikey is very switched on and tells it like it is. I think it is becoming apparent that the Labor Gov't is acting as a defacto for the Chinese Gov't. in Aussie and know from time to time they have to handover our assets to keep our northern neighbours happy. Yes it's all political and nothing about rights of shareholders or legalities. The question that needs to be asked is how hard did ASIC try to prove a connection or where they instructed to backoff?
