Hi Talk To Me,
Not much difference between EMAs and SMAs - just what you get accustomed to. The EMA/SMA argument is endless. In the end - I believe, all moving averages have a certain arbitrariness to them.
As I do my charts myself using an excel spread sheet - it's much easier to do SMAs.
Why am I back on the XJO thread?
That's where I usually post.
I had suggested to me that my posts were more appropriate to the General thread.
So - I went there for one week.
Frankly - if one is to post what one thinks is valuable and useful to others - then one wants the widest readership possible. The XJO provides that for my posts. And I get the best feed back on the XJO thread.
My posts and Wink's Waffle are complementary - so I think that they provide a good balance and robustness in the XJO thread.
Cheers
