And why would Goldcorp reduce their stake on 10.19m oz au, open pit, with very good strip ratio? MUST be either the low grade, ultimately meaning higher opex, or it's a turkey. Will have to wait and see I suppose?
On the other hand, San Anton might not fit into their strategic plans and there are better fits for the company.
Of course, they haven't 'sold out' yet, just reduced their stake by not contributing this FY.
SNN must be one of the LOWEST, if not the lowest, MC to resource companies on the TSX now, if not any global exchange. Even the company has acknowledged it and they MUST be asking themselves why.
