Oh,boy where is the source in the bible re
"Next generations of Jacob, Ishmael and Esau were in Egypt. Thus slavery till Moses." .................
From my reading it is clear that 70 people went down to Egypt when Joseph was the viceroy there. There is no mention in the Old Testament of Esau and Ishmael going down there with Jacob. And whilst the Old Testament talks about the Jews being in Goshen etc etc there is nop mention whatso ever of the whereabouts or existance of the descendants of either Ishmael or Esau, within Egypt......
In fact if you count the actual names mentioned in the Torah you will find only 69 but the 70th was Jocheved (Moses's mother) who was born on the way.
Purely as a matter of interest what is your source generally on what you posted? Not having a go at you but is is part of any specific religion that you belong or adhere to?
