Palestinians: Home of Islamic Jihad leader bombed in Gaza

Israeli combat aircraft bombed a home in Gaza City
on Monday morning, which Palestinians said
belonged to Islamic Jihad leader Abdullah Shami in
the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported.




The blast went off in the
Sajaiyeh neighborhood in the
eastern part of the city, and
smoke rose into the air. There
were no immediate reports of
injuries.

The strike comes hours after
three Israeli soldiers were
killed and one injured in a

shooting ambush near Ramallah on Sunday
evening.
